Ben Barber, CFA

Ben Barber is the senior vice president and director of Franklin Templeton Fixed Income - Municipal Bonds in San Mateo, California, United States. Mr. Barber is the head of Municipal Bonds at Franklin Templeton and is a portfolio manager for all national municipal strategies.

Mr. Barber has over 30 years of experience in financial services. He is also a member of Franklin Templeton's management committee. Prior to his current role, Mr. Barber was the co-head of Municipal Bonds at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. He also was previously with Franklin Templeton Fixed Income - Municipal Bonds in 1991 as portfolio manager and research analyst.

Mr. Barber holds a bachelor of arts in political science (with emphasis in international relations) from University of California at Santa Barbara. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, and member of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts and California Society of Municipal Analysts.
