BSP believes effective management of ESG issues can have a meaningful impact on credit quality. With a longstanding commitment to responsible investing, and its affiliation with Franklin Templeton, a United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investing (“PRI”) signatory, the firm has bolstered its collective interest to integrate Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance considerations into investment decisions.

BSP's affiliate, Alcentra (acquired by Franklin Templeton in November 2022), is a UN PRI signatory and as such, has a firm-wide commitment to responsible investment and incorporates ESG considerations into their investment decision making process.
